Contents:      Spironolactone 100 mg

Indications: Essential HTN, edema & ascites of CHF, liver cirrhosis, diagnosis & treatment of primary aldosteronism.

Dosage:      50-100 mg/day may be gradually increased up to 200 mg/day.

Administration: Should be taken with food.

Contraindications: Hyperkalemia, progressive renal failure; concomitant K supplement or w/ K-sparing diuretic therapy.

Special Precautions : Dehydration, hepatic disease, hyponatremia, renal insufficiency.
